Blair wig progress

Cut and styled myself, the kitty ears are made of foam and felt with clippings from the actual wig after I cut the side hair. The pink tuffs of hair are made from clippings off my Simca wig, idk I thought it was a cute effect lol.
The actual cosplay itself is almost complete but I am getting to tired to work on it and I have mega cramps.
BTW: I TACKLED THE HAT TODAY! but I need some parental help it's sitting in the closet til then lol.

Road Trip + Cosplay Progress

So today mom and I decided to take a road trip to find Chapel Hill. We weren't really looking for anything it's just beats sitting in the house all day and we want to learn our way around our area so we traveled down this really long country road passing cows,horses,llamas,farms etc for 30 mins until we found Chapel Hill. It was amazing! the roads after awhile looked like Maryland and idk I was really in love with it (wtf rofl) I can't really explain it without rambling but I loved it!!!!! and apparently my Graphic Design teacher lives there cause I saw here walking o_O;. It was funny because mom and me joked about it being like New York (dispite the surrounding area being so OTT country) so we were both shocked to see bus stations and people walking around and buildings.
It was mostly college kids however since UNC is over there. I am actually considering going to school there after ACC *A* it's so beautiful! <3333 Screw going back north lol.
We didn't find anything super interesting and it was raining so we went home after exploring a shop.
Of course on the way back I had to go to Hobby Lobby. I am not buying a lolita dress anymore but am going to be making one instead. I drew it out but it's really crappy looking lol I drew it to be cute and give me an idea of what I want to make and the pencil I was using is uber shitty. I'll post it in another entry though. I needed more lace so I bought some for the bottom of the dress and a smaller kind I want to use for something else and ribbon for my wrist cuffs *w*. Also picked up the fabric for my Simca dress! whoot $1.99!!. I was actually really tired when I got home but I hate sleeping during the day so I worked on Simca for a little bit. I got done the top and bottom of the dress before I figured it it's time for quits and soup. Progress below:
The top of the dress and the sailor collar. Okay so Hobby Lobby has a small variety of stuff to work with (they didn't have anymore taffeta so I couldn't make my boot covers :/) so I got this ribbon for the bottom part of my dress. Is it too bright? D:
Gonna end this now cause I feel like I just rambled and because my soup is getting cold.

Yesterday via Facebook I talked to my friend Izyy :D she lives in Indiana now but told me she plans to go to Animazment 2010 <3333333 I really hope her plan works out and she can come I'd love to see her again!!!!

Simon jacket progress #2 opinions plz!

I stayed home from school again today. My school wasn't going to open til 10 and my first class is at 9. 10 is normally my hour break so I really didn't have to be at school til 11. But mom had to go to work on time at 9. So at first she was going to take me to school but then I am still hacking my lungs up (been hacking all night) so she was just like "eh stay home". So I stayed home and was inspired to work on my jacket some more. Today I concurred the symbol on the back of the jacket.

I love love LOVE how it looks. But I have things I noticed that bother me :( but for once I am not going to nitpick about them. It looks great :D that's all that matters!!!. After I sew the symbol on I am going to add the red lines and redo the jacket collar properly!!! I feel iffy about it not having a zipper but in all the images I have looked at its had no zipper >_> also I sort of made it with no pattern so it wouldn't zip from the tummy down anyways XD I fail so hard at life sometimes. But his jacket doesn't zip anyways...just sort of hangs open exposing his chest!!!!!!!!!!! for that I think I will bind my chest and then find a flesh colored top or something. I don't think I'd feel comfortable exposing binded chest+ whoever drops me off at AZ will be like "lol not happening".
The drill necklace is next. I planned out how I want to do it but I need to go to Wal-mart or Micheals :< I might go this weekend so I have something to do over spring break :D I also gotta make a new Boota since Lucky ate my old one >____<.
